You will be using the Web to find information that will help you complete this project.You will be showing that you understand the plot and characters of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet as well as the literary elements contained in it. You will also be using your writing skills to express your thoughts and ideas.
You will have four activities to complete.
Read all directions before you click.
Activity 1:
Go to Romeo and Juliet Plot Summary sheet and print it.
Using your book, write a paragraph summary of the events of each act of the play, Romeo and Juliet.
Activity 2:
Go to Character Description and print it. Choose a character and a label. Write a thesis statement about this character and the selected trait. Brainstorm about your supporting details. Write a minimum two paragraph composition on your own paper or on the word processor.
Activity 3:
Using your text and/or one of the resources cited, choose five literary terms and give one example for each from Romeo and Juliet'. Go to Terms Choices for a list of your choices. You may refer to Literary Terms to refresh your memory on the terms.
Write the term and the text that is the example. Use page Terms Worksheet as a guide.
Activity 4:
Choose one of the Composition Topics and write a two page composition.
You may want to read the commentary of another student. He blames the parents for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
